This book was developed as a service project to help preserve Williston's history while allowing the students at Kelly Edwards Elementary School the opportunity to hear stories and conduct research of the town's past. It is to be understood that this information is based on children's interpretations and points of interest-therefore, it somewhat fact and somewhat fiction.

All proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to the Williston Fire Department for the restoration of the 1930s engine, "Old Glory" (a name given fondly to the truck by the Kelly Edwards students).
