Our Mission
Sandlapper Publishing Company was established in 1983 by Frank N. Handal. He purchased the book publishing division of the Sandlapper Magazine of Lexington, South Carolina and began his company in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Mr. Handal published books about South Carolina and added other publishers books to his list to create a central source of distribution. In 1997, the company was sold to Christian and Amanda Gallman.
Sandlapper Publishing operates as a traditional book publisher. Manuscripts are reviewed for consideration of publication. Accepted manuscripts are edited and designed in house. Our books are bound and printed by quality book manufacturers. Sandlapper pays all publishing expenses and royalties are paid to each author based upon sales.
